Palmer Studio LLC, one of Flagler County’s premier full-service architecture and interiors firms, and Albano Design Studios, Inc, a luxury homebuilder and commercial contractor, have completed the sale of their respective companies to a newly formed corporation, Bespoke Group, Inc. The new firm will wholly own both firms and will provide full service architectural services, as well as in-house construction services.
Sean Palmer will serve as Bespoke Group’s President and focus on the practice’s single-source design and delivery methods. “When I started Palmer Studio several years ago, I did so with the belief that architecture and construction are intertwined, and combining each is critical to the success of any project.” Palmer said in the same release. He further comments “Over the years, I've worked with many clients that were unable to get contractors to engage in a true custom build whether it was commercial or residential. These days, builders are typically looking for 'low-hanging fruit' and a custom, refined residence or commercial build-out is not on their radar. Bespoke solves this problem on select projects, by bringing the construction process in-house.”
Jim Albano will serve as Vice President and will focus on integrating construction into the design process. “I have been searching for ways to bring the construction aspect of the project earlier into the design phase, and by combining our resources we can achieve this.,” Albano said. He further states “By working side-by-side with the design team, we can work through construction issues, budgetary concerns, and begin the bidding process sooner in a project, ultimately saving the client money, as well as remove the adversarial relationship between architect and contractor that is found in traditional construction methods.”
